Respect for the Stool
The Ainoo Kwagyan Ezohile Stool (Ezohile (Asona) family, Crow Totem) holds the town's memory. Elders and the Okyeame keep its counsel; decisions are taken together at the Palace forecourt.
Community — Nzema Culture
Esiama is not a service — it is a Nzema town. Stool, ocean, schools and market kept by respect, communal work and honest welcome.
Esiama is Nzema — stool, ocean and town kept by shared values: respect for elders, communal work, care for children and honest welcome. The stool belongs to the people, the sea and shore are tended by the town.

Streets, market and shore are kept by shared hands. Sanitation drives, school support and the new market are town work — not hired, but done together on Saturdays.

A visitor is a neighbour not yet known. Water is offered, the stool history is shared, and children greet elders before any business at the gate.
04
Fishing canoes at dawn, shore work by day. Turtle nesting Dec–Feb is observed from shore, fish counted each July, and no waste enters the water — the ledger is the town's.

Esiama pioneered and remains the centre of Nzema education, civilization and culture — SHTS, the Nursing & Midwifery Training College and the basic schools hold 1,600+ learners. Every child is the town's child.

Church, mosque and stool meet at the durbar. Kundum gathers the town 25 Oct – 1 Nov — drums, dance and homecoming for daughters and sons near and far, kept since before memory.
