Founded in 1853, The University of Melbourne is a public research university located in Melbourne, Australia.
It is Australia’s second oldest university and the oldest in Victoria.
The main campus is located in Parkville, just north of the CBD. The rest of the campuses are located throughout Victoria.
It is different from any other university in Australia; as it offers nine generalized three-year degrees instead of traditional specialized undergraduate degrees.
