The controversial e-levy has finally seen the day of light as it has now been passed by parliament after the minority staged a walkout during sitting.
What climax the whole passage has to do with the fact that an ailing Member of Parliament was brought to the house of parliament whiles on his sickbed. He was transported by one of the National Ambulances.
It is believed he is the Member of Parliament for Ahanta West and also Chieftancy Minister. This obviously indicates how important the e-levy is important to the president of the Republic. The e-levy has been passed on a day that is his birthday and on a day the Black Stars face the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the World Cup playoffs.

If NDC MPS had stayed, you people would have said they were part of the people who passed e-levy! The government Re-introduced the bill under the certificate of urgency which meant no quorum needed so NDC MP’s presence would have been useless.#NewsNight #ELevy
