With headlines like; Pamela Watara taking over social media and Who is Hajai Bintu?; it was obvious a new light has been thrown on a new Ghanaian sensation. The Ghanaian; who is believed to have been born in Kenya certainly took over the internet and there is one thing that brought about the fame and it appears the fame wasn’t something she thought would be diminishing soon.

On June 5, 1996, in Kenya, Pamela Odame Watara was born to a Ghanaian mother and a Kenyan father. She is an actress, model, video vixen, and social media celebrity.

She claims to have studied marketing at Wisconsin University in Accra, Ghana, but Pamela Odame is not a student there, according to Bridgette Bonnie, the SRC president for Wisconsin University College at the time, who spoke with Akwesi Aboagye over the phone.

With several directors wanting her on set, I begin to wonder what is happening off late. She is rarely heard off late. Does that mean we have grown tired of these?

Her package in front obviously brought in the fame and made Pamela Watara the lady almost every director wanted to feature in his movie or music video. But it appears with time, things aren’t what they seem.

Another Ghanaian celebrity who is gradually fading away is Hajia Bintu. With fierce competition from other tiktokers who believe to have a bigger back than hers trending on the popular Chinese app, her back is gradually losing its essence.

With the whole King of Dancehall in the country composing a song for her, it was obvious she really had her moment.

But that doesn’t take away the fact once upon a time, this was what was trending on social media;

Now with time, there is no doubt these forces are gradually fading away.

The soldier who was killed in Ashaiman, Sherif Awudi Imoro, allegedly had a girlfriend, according to multiple online reports.

In the early hours of Saturday, March 4, 2023, Sherif Awudi Imoro, 22, was fatally stabbed by unidentified assailants in Ashaiman-Taifa.

Imoro, a member of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) band in Sunyani, in the Bono Region, reportedly died suddenly while returning from his girlfriend’s home in Taifa and traveling to his home in Zongo-Laka in Ashaiman.

According to Fidelis Yusif Bogobiri, a Facebook user, the soldier was killed by his girlfriend’s sidekick after receiving information that his fiancé was having an extramarital affair.

Fidelis maintains that the soldier was brutally murdered by his girlfriend’s other partner, who is currently on the run with the other assailants, in contrast to the trading’s claims that the soldier was robbed and killed by armed robbers.

People on social media are claiming that Nana Yaa, a woman who is thought to be in her early 20s, is the soldier’s girlfriend.

The internet was flooded with images of Nana Yaa and her soldier boyfriend, Imoro, making out.

However, Ghanaians on social media are upset about the woman’s appearance because they feel that she lacks the necessary beauty to justify a soldier dying prematurely for her love.

Even the mother of the late soldier, Afia Kyerah claims she had no idea her son was visiting Ashaiman while on sick leave from his base in Sunyani, Bono Region.

Recall that on March 7th, the Ghana Air Force invaded Ashaiman in response to the murder of one of their fellow soldiers.

Abdul-Latif Fawei was named the best student in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the Gushegu district after the results came in 2022.

The Ghana Education Service in the quest to reward him for being the brightest student with a good grade asked the young man who is now in the University to come to Gushegu district for his reward.

A new report concerning the death of the 22-year-old soldier with the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) band from Sunyani who was tragically murdered in Ashaiman last Saturday alleges that he went to visit his girlfriend and lost his life in her room.

According to an insider, the late Sherif Moro was allegedly killed by his girlfriend’s other lover.

The bearer of the news who can be identified on Facebook as Fidelis Yusif Bogobiri explained that the soldier’s girlfriend’s other lover was given a tip-off by some community members that his fiance was cheating on him.

Since he was additionally told that Sherif normally comes to sleep at his woman’s place, he ambushed him at dawn with some friends and stabbed him from behind his neck leaving him to die in a pool of blood.

Contrary to the trading claims that the soldier was robbed and killed by armed robbers, Fidelis insists otherwise as she maintains the soldier was gruesomely murdered by his girlfriend’s other partner who is currently on the run together with the other assailants.

Today, you’ll discover the top 10 health benefits of eating turmeric every day. Do you eat turmeric? Maybe you already consume turmeric in curries or turmeric latte known as golden milk.

Turmeric is a plant from the ginger family. It is commonly used as a spice and also as traditional medicine. The benefits of turmeric come from curcuminoids. The main curcuminoid of turmeric is curcumin, which makes up 77% of all curcuminoids and gives turmeric its yellow color.

Number 10. “Protect Your Neurons.”

Neurons or nerve cells transport information between different areas of the brain. Fortunately, neurons can increase and grow new connections even in adulthood. This is great news because you can keep your brain healthy by enhancing nerve cell connections.

Curcumin can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein that promotes healthy neurons and improves memory and learning. When neurons are damaged, BDNF decreases, and neurodegenerative diseases such as depression, epilepsy, migraine, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s disease can occur.

Curcumin also protects nerve cells from damage by blocking inflammatory molecules.

It reduces Alzheimer’s disease symptoms and migraine by binding to a protein called Amyloid Beta. When these protein pieces clump together to form plaques in the brain, it leads to brain damage. Research on Alzheimer’s patients has found that curcumin removes these plaques and prevents their formation.

Do you always feel tired while at work? Then I guess it’s about time you consider checking your diet. The foods you take in have a lot to do with your strength during the day.

But there are at times one feels really tired without doing anything and simply doesn’t seem to understand where this tiredness is coming from. But the answer somehow lies in the food we sometimes eat.

Let us therefore have a look at these that make you tired but you somehow don’t pay attention to them;

Empty And Simple Carbohydrates

Basically, carbohydrates are not a bad thing, but rather the number one source of energy for the body. But it depends on which form of carbohydrates you consume in order to be efficient and not sluggish.

Simple and empty carbohydrates such as those contained in white flour products, sweet particles, cakes, or sweets provide the body with energy but make the blood sugar level rise and fall again quickly.

This makes the body tired. The lack of nutrients such as vitamins and minerals also ensures that the body is not adequately supplied.

It is better if you rely on complex carbohydrates. These are e.g. B. contained in whole grains, spelled, oatmeal, legumes and vegetables. Dietary fiber also saturates and causes the blood sugar level to rise only slowly.

Sweets

The crispy muesli for breakfast, the fruit yogurt in between, the chocolate bar in the evening. All of these sweet temptations are real energy robbers.

Because they are full of industrial sugar, which can make the blood sugar level skyrocket, but also drop it again just as quickly. The consequences: We fall into a deep hole – and feel limp and tired.

Fried Food

Burgers, fries and pizza are literally heavy on our stomachs. In order to digest food optimally, the body pumps blood to the stomach.

The problem: In order to process heavy, high-fat foods, the body needs a lot more blood than with vegetable or low-fat products. And it is precisely this blood that we lack in our heads: We practically switch off and get tired.

Smoothies

Ready-made smoothies from the supermarket shelf often contain large amounts of sugar that immediately pass into the blood.

As a result, the blood sugar level rises quickly and falls again just as quickly – and fatigue spreads. It is better if you prepare your smoothie yourself at home.

You can use this e.g. B. with vegetables, nuts, oatmeal and good sources of protein. As a result, it saturates significantly longer!

White Flour

White bread, wheat rolls, toasts, but also pasta and pizza: food made from white industrial flour makes you tired.

And for similar reasons that also apply to sweet dishes: white flour is made up of sugar or short-chain carbohydrates, which give the body a short energy boost, but immediately drop the blood sugar level again.

Alcohol

For some people, it happens that they cannot sleep through the night after consuming alcohol and are therefore tired and sluggish during the day.

The alcohol also removes water from the body, so that the blood thickens and less oxygen can be transported through the body.

This also leads to fatigue. Therefore, only drink alcohol in moderation and drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake has hit eastern Turkey, killing at least one person and wounding dozens while causing some damaged buildings to collapse.

Monday’s earthquake became the latest major tremor to rock southern Turkey as the region rebuilds from earlier massive quakes that killed more than 50,000 people across southern Turkey and northwest Syria.

The latest quake was centred in the town of Yesilyurt in Malatya province, the country’s disaster management agency (AFAD) said, adding that one person was killed when a factory collapsed in Kahramanmaras, the epicentre of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that hit the region on February 6, and 69 others were injured.

Yesilyurt’s Mayor Mehmet Cinar told HaberTurk television that a number of buildings in the town collapsed, including a four-storey building where a father and daughter were trapped.

Cinar said the pair had entered the damaged building to collect belongings.

Television images showed the man being carried on a stretcher into an ambulance, while rescue teams were trying to make contact with his daughter inside the damaged building.

Al Jazeera’s Teresa Bo, reporting from Gaziantep, said the quake was also felt by people living in temporary camps after being displaced by the earlier quakes.

“The earthquake was also felt here in the centre of Gaziantep, right where those who have been affected by the earthquakes that happened on February 6 are living now inside tents. It generated fear and anguish once again,” Bo said.
