The former governor Ayo Fayose tired of all the insecurity in the country and the killing of people blamed president Buhari for being the cause of all that and being the Jonah in the boat of Nigerians causing problems for them.
According to Ayo Fayose, nothing is wrong with Nigeria as a country and nothing is wrong with Nigerians as a people but rather president Buhari is the national mishap and the Jonah in the boat of Nigerians causing trouble.
Ayo Fayose also added that this insecurity is one too many and painfully Nigerians will have to endure that till 2023 praying that God keeps them all till 2023 so they can elect a new president who will bring sanity to the country.
The actions of President Buhari in relation to the insecurity going on in his country has raised a lot of questions in the mind of others as he has blatantly refused to address the issue in his country but fly to address that in another country and that is why Ayo Fayose is blaming him.
Ayo Fayose isn’t the only one blaming president Buhari for the insecurity in the country as every other Nigerian youth is blaming him because of his actions refusing to work and let peace rain in the country.
We woke up in shock with news making round with regards to a SHS girl committing suicide but the sad reality is that she was in Junior High School instead. With various media houses speculating her age, I guess that is something we aren’t interested in for now but what might push this beautiful girl to take her own life.
The Housemistress of the school, Gifty Acheampong, in a radio interview with Accra-based Citi FM, said “I was in the kitchen when I heard the students shouting. I rushed there and saw her hanging. So I quickly rushed to the church auditorium to call the proprietor and the proprietress.”
It is believed she left a simple suicide note which simply read; “THERE IS SOO MUCH SORROW AND PAIN IN MY HEART“.
The last episode of Date Rush is indeed something worth mentioning as one Shemima Adam stole the show and that of the president when she appeared on the popular Date Rush Show.
With the president pulling 2.4k on Facebook live, Shemima was on stage with more than 13,000 views on Facebook live.
Our attention therefore today is to have a look at this curvaceous lady who stole the president’s shine. The mother of one climbed the stage last Sunday in search of love and those heavy goods of hers is what got Ghanaians talking at the end. She at the end left the stage with one Ali who she felt is her soul mate and things are indeed going on smoothly between the love lovebirds.
Shemima Adam claims to be 26 years and will be turning 27 in October. Shemima is an entrepreneur and she sells ladies and guys clothes online, According to her, she, however, sells more guys’ clothes, shoes and more than ladies’ goods.
Her brother describing her on the show says, she is a straightforward person and doesn’t sugarcoat words when she is expressing her opinion or confronting someone over an issue.
Ghanaian teachers have been trending throughout this week and the it is a good trend. Not the usual news we have been hearing of teachers flogging students to death or one male teacher sleeping with his students.
It appears we now have individuals who are really interested with what they do when it comes to teaching. There was the story of one teacher who feeds her students each and every day with the meagre salary she receives.
Another made the news after she made sure her classroom is very well painted and less privileged children who don’t have books get to read and write by providing them with the necessary materials.
Now let meet the Ghanaian teacher who is a true believer of having the needed nutrients when it comes to having the right balanced diet.
Meet Madam Anita, she is one Ghanaian teacher who provides her students with fruits each and every Friday.
She does this philanthropic work with all joy and it appears this is something the children look up to each and every Friday.
All that we have to say is to say thank you on behalf of the kids.
Another day has dawned on us and the sun is really bright from where I find myself.
We are today going to talk about our presidents. The presidents Ghana have have had so far and the secondary schools they are attended.
The question which follows is; has your school ever produced a president for the nation? When it comes to the tertiary level, it is only the University of Ghana, Legon, which has produced more presidents for the country.
The likes of the KNUSTs and UCC are yet to produce a president for the country. But our attention today is at the secondary level and it appears one particular school tops it all when it comes to the number of presidents they’ve produced for the country.
-Dr. Kwame Nkrumah
The man of the millennium, the first president of Ghana, the best president Ghana and Africa has seen so far is an alumnus of Achimota College.
After his elementary school at Roman Catholic at Half Assin, he went on furthered his secondary education at Achimota College in 1930.
And the secondary school which produced the first president of Ghana is Achimota College.
-Lt. General Joseph Arthur Ankrah
He spent 3 years in office after been part of the coup d’etat which disposed off Kwame Nkrumah in 1966.
It is believed he attended Accra Academy and was very instrumental in the school’s team.
-Brigadier Akwasi Afrifa
He attended Adisadel College and he is one of those presidents who can be best be described as the president who came to power through the backdoor.
He came to power through a coup detat and it appears he is one of the cause of the woes of the country.
-Edward Akufo-Addo
He attended Achimota College as well just like Nkrumah and graduated in the year 1929.
He ruled the country for two years and was one of the founding fathers of the UGCC-the first political party in the country.
-General Ignatius Kutu Achaempong
Arguably, one of the best presidents the country has ever seen, He ruled the country for close to seven years and his Operation Feed Yourself is one of te most fruitful programmes the country has ever seen
It’s believed he attended Central College of Commerce at Agona Swedru. He is also one president whom I believe won’t be forgotten easily by most Ghanaian women.
-Jerry John Rawlings
The first John of the Fourth Republic and the longest-serving president the country has seen attended Achimota College as well.
He completed Achimota College in the year 1967 and went on to continue at Teshie Military School.
-John Agyekum Kufuor
The Gentle Jack spent 8 years in power and is a product of Prempeh College where he completed in 1958.
-Professor John Evans Fiifi Ata Mills
The ASOMDWE-HENE president is also an alumus of Achimota College. His death whiles in power really brought lots of sadness to all Ghanaians as the soft-spoken gave up the ghost in 2012.
-John Dramani Mahama
The former president of Ghana is also a product of Achimota College.
For those wondering which of the secondary schools our current president attended in the country, I’m sorry to tell you that our current president; Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo didn’t attend any secondary school in Ghana.
He and Dr. Hilla Liman who was the president of the Republic in the year 1981 all had their secondary education outside the country.
We all can see Achimota College is one school which has produced lots of presidents for the country.
Adisco and Accra Aca are one of the few schools which also hold bragging rights as well when it comes to secondary schools in the country which have produced presidents for the country.
Was your school on the list? Mine never came close but we do hope to produce the best president with time.
The most beautiful first ladies Ghana has ever seen is what we are ging to look at today. As I always say, beauty is indeed something that lies in the eyes of the beholder but indeed true beauty lies in the eyes of all.
We are therefore going to have a look at some of the most beautiful first ladies the country has ever seen.
Ghana has seen over ten presidents since Independence and so it, therefore, goes on to transcend the fact we have seen over 10 first ladies as each of the presidents we’ve had so far were married before becoming presidents.
Let therefore have a look at some of the most beautiful first ladies Ghana. As usual, let move back to business;
-Fathia Nkrumah
The wife of the first president cannot be taken off the list when it comes the most beautiful first ladies in the country has ever seen.
She was of Egyptian descent and it was believed her mother wasn’t in agreement with her marrying Dr. Kwame Nkrummah as she was going to be taken away to a different country.
But in the end, their union happened and they were blessed with three children at the end.
She died in 2007 and was buried near her husband in Ghana.
NAA-MORKOR ABREFI BUSIA
She was the first lady of Ghana from the year 1969 to 1972 when her husband was then the president of Ghana.
Naa-Morkor Abrefi and Dr. Busia met in the States and it appears that’s where their love life grew.
It is believed she was a mid-wife and got enrolled in midwifery school at the age of 16 and got her training at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
-Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings
The wife of the late Rawlings cannot be taken off the list as well. Nana Agyeman Konadu Rawlings is one of the good-looking first ladies the country has ever seen and it appears she is the longest-serving first lady ever as his husband spent close to two decades as the president of the Republic.
Their love brew way back in secondary school and continued till death separated them. They got married in 1977 and had four children.
Lordina Mahama
The wife of the immediate past president of Ghana; John Mahama can’t be take off the radar as well when it comes to a look at some of the most beautiful first ladies Ghana have had so far.
She served as the first lady of the republic when her husband ascended the throne mid 2020 following the death of then incumbent president John Ata Mills.
She obviously spent a little over 4 years as the first lady of Ghana and she was one of the best and beautiful first ladies the country has ever seen.
Rebecca Akufo-Addo
The current first lady of Ghana is also a true definition of beauty and certainly will make any list when it comes to the most beautiful first ladies Ghana has ever seen.
Rebecca Akufo Addo and her husband has been together for a really long time now and are blessed with five beautiful girls.
Dora Fulera Limann
The wife of Dr. Liman is also an epitome of beauty. She was first lady for two years before the ousting of her husband in 1981 by Jerry John Rawlings.
Which of the first ladies do you think ought to be added? Let us know by commenting beneath.
I ask the questions here and so those here who want to know whether my school is a part or not, I won’t mind you biaa. That’s typical Ghanaian English.
Now let me divert the question to you now, is your school on the list when it comes to senior high schools in the country which are believed to be best?
Let me be honest here, I personally will certainly be surprised if my school made the list when it comes to the best secondary school in the country.
Please don’t ask me which secondary school I attended because I’m not going to answer that.
That’s is on the light lighter note though. Let move back to business as usual as we intend to have a look at the best secondary schools in Ghana.
Now let move back to business as usual but before we move further, let it be noted that this is something based solely on the National Science and Maths Quiz and so it will be fair to stress on that as some secondary schools are well noted to be very good in other courses like Business and not solely on Science.
And as it stands now, there isn’t any National quiz programme on other courses for senior High schools other than Science.
And so it will be fair once more to repeat one more; a look at the best secondary schools in Ghana based on the National Science and Maths Quiz and the quizhat follows is; is your school on the list?
1.Presbyterian Boys Senior High School, Legon – Has won the NSMQ 6 times
Presbyterian Boys Senior High, Legon( The Legon ought to be added since there are lots of Presbyterian schools in the country) tops it all when it comes to the best senior high schools in the country based on the National Science and Maths Quiz.
They used to have won the competition 5 times but they been the latest winners in 2020, it takes their trophy to six in all making the school the best Senior High School in the country when it comes to the National Science and Maths Quiz.
I guess you might not know your favourite musician or celebrity is an entstooled king or queen.
We are therefore going to have a look at some popular celebrities you might know are enstooled kings and queens.
We often hear most celebrities claiming to be kings of this and that and the female claiming to be queens but a king or queen without a crown is indeed an ordinary man with pride.
Or better put a useless one. When there is a king, there ought to be a kingdom. We now have situations where most Ghanaian musicians are now claiming to be dons and gads all in the name of claiming supremacy in the industry.
But let move back to business as usual as we intend to focus on the real kings and queens who have been enstooled by our traditional leaders and are recognized as such.
Let begin;
Obaahema Wendy Shay
Wendy Shay, let me correct it; Obaahema Wendy is the recognised queenmother of Gomoa Afransi. She was enstooled as queen the exact date of 28th December, 2019.
Her stool is “Ahenemba Hemaa of Gomoa Afransi”. And so it appears Obaahema Wendy Shay isn’t far from right when she claims to be the queen of Ghana music.
It appears she is the only recognized queen mother who is actively involved in Ghana music.
Aberantie Amakye Dede
The evergreen and ever young veterran musician is also a recognised chief in the Asante Akyem Agogo municipality.
With the title Okyeredom conferred on him, Nana Amakye Dede is seen as one of the greatest individuals ever to come out from the Agogo land and so ought to be appreciated as such.
Oheneyere Gifty Anti
Another popular Ghanaian celebrity who has royalty running through her blood is that of our own Gifty Anti but now has the title Oheneyere conferred on her.
She is a queen as she married to one Nana Ansah Kwao IV of Adumasa Traditional Area.
Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu
Mercy Asiedu is also associated with royalty as she married to a king as well. The popular Kumawood actress is legitimately married to Nana Agyeman Badu.
Therefore the list won’t be complete without here. She now seems to be more focused on her queenly duties than acting.
Nana Captain Smart
The affluent radio presenter also do have a say when the chiefs and his people meet at the palace.
He is a recognized linguist for the people of Akwamu. It has been revealed that Captain Smart is actually an ‘Okyeame’ or linguist with the stool name ‘Otumfour Akwamuhene Kyeame’, meaning he can speak for the Akwamuhene or Akwamu Chief.
It appears he doesn’t only need to talk on radio but has a major role to play as well for the people of Akwamu.
And so there you have it. These are of the popular Ghanaian celebrities who seem to have royalty in their blood and so as such are recognized as kings and queens.
Today is of course another beautiful day the Lord has made. Talk of beauty is what we intend to have a look at today. Beauty they say lies in the eyes of the beholder but you will agree with me that true beauty lies in the eyes of all.
If one is beautiful, there is no doubt people will see it and attest to the fact this lady is beautiful and the vice versa can be seen by all as well.
When one is ugly there is no doubt everyone will agree to the fact this or that lady isn’t beautiful enough and so can be seen as the true definition of ugliness.
But our attention today is to have a look at some beautiful Ghanaian celebrities who can be classified as true epitome of beauty.
I guess I will need to take a day and focus on the other side as well with time but for now, let have a look at what’s onboard.
A look at some beautiful female celebrities in the entertainment industry is what we intend to focus our attention on today.
Which female celebrity do you think should make the list? Let move back to business as usual;
Hajia Bintu
The only Hajia in the entertainment industry I believe will be making anyone’s list when it comes to Ghanaian female celebrities who are really beautiful.
She is believed to be a student of Koforidua Technical University. The name Hajia Bintu is one name obviously associated with Tik Tok since that’s where she really became popular.
The Tik Tok platform gave her all the attention she is getting when those heavy goods of hers caught the attention of Ghanaians and it appears that has been her major weapon and breakthrough into the entertainment scene.
And that’s something which has really made her made the list of some of the most beautiful female celebrities in the country.
Nana Ama McBrown
The actress now a presenter on UTV can’t of course be taking off this list as well. She is really beautiful and that’s something that throws people off when they realize the beautiful empress is more than 40 years.
She is going to be 44 years this year and it appears she ages with beauty.
Juliet Ibrahim
The 34-year-old actress is indeed a true epitome of beauty as well. She possesses all the qualities which can be described as a true definition of beauty.
The actress recently even won an award as one of the most beautiful women in West Africa and so it appears her beauty even transcends beyond the borders of Ghana.
Therefore there is no way she is going to miss any list when it comes to Ghanaian celebrities who are really beautiful.
Nadia Buari
Wouldn’t it be surprising if she doesn’t make the list? The award-winning actress is 38 years and a mother of three but still continues to glow with beauty.
There is no doubt she is one of the best actresses in the industry with lots of beauty.
Zynnell Zuh
Another name which can’t be taken off the list is that of Zynnel Zuh who hails from the Volta Region of Ghana.
She is always seen glamouring screens with beauty. The actress is also very well known for her philanthropic works.
Martha Ankomah
The actress is one beautiful lady who cannot be taken off the list when it comes to Ghanaian celebrities who are really beautiful in the entertainment industry.
The spinster is yet to get married and there is no doubt there are lots of suitors hitting her inbox each and every day because of her beauty.
Jackie Appiah
This beautiful goddess has been on our screens for a really long time and besides her acting skills, many certainly do admire her beauty as well.
The 37-year-old award-winning actress was born in Canada though but it appears she never forgot her roots.
As she really began acting in Ghana at a very tender age and made name for herself through the popular Ghanaian series Things We Do For Love.
Sister Derby
The self-acclaimed African mermaid can’t be off the list as well. Sister Derby is indeed one of the goddesses of beauty in the industry.
Her relationship with Medikal didn’t go according to plan but that doesn’t take anything away from the fact that she is indeed one of the most beautiful celebrities in the industry.
Yvonne Nelson
Her beauty coupled with her height and her acting ability has earned her a high reputation in the country.
She is really beautiful and the list won’t certainly be complete without her.
Adina
The beautiful musician is full of beauty as well aside those interesting music she has been channeling out.
Obaapa Christie
Another musician who cannot be taken off the list is Obaapa Christie. The gospel musician is really filled with beauty aside the beautiful melodies she gives us.
