We are made to believe photos speak a thousand words hence in order not to make long speeches, one needs to focus on photos as well.

We are therefore going to have a look at some perfectly timed photos in sports that look photoshopped are indeed real.

Invisible Offensive Lineman

In Shreveport, Louisiana, Tanner Coleman, an offensive lineman for Evangel Christian Academy, lost his helmet while protecting his quarterback during a game. This freaky shot, which looks Photoshopped, was snapped by a Dallas Morning News photographer, but it was just perfectly timed.

The photo was first sighted on the Instagram platform of blogger Van De Maestro.

A lot of netizens have however asserted that the marriage ceremony took place in South Africa.

The wedding reportedly received the blessing of the 14-year old boy and the family of the woman.

As portrayed in the photo shared herein, the duo seemed happy about their union, and from where stand, our opinions don’t matter at all.

The death of the Noble Peace winner came as a surprise to many. Desmond Tutu passed away at a ripe age of 90 years. He was a great activist and is the author behind the controversial book titled God is not a Christian where he raised some interesting facts. His main argument is; if God was to be a Christian, what happens to be the fate of those who died before Christ was born because the Bible makes us to understand that one will miss heaven when he or she doesn’t accept Christ as his or her personal saviour.

I guess that is something we will take a look at later but let us have a look at some of the memorable quotes from Desmond Tutu.

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse, and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.”

“My father always used to say, ‘Don’t raise your voice. Improve your argument.’ Good sense does not always lie with the loudest shouters, nor can we say that a large, unruly crowd is always the best arbiter of what is right.”

“We may be surprised at the people we find in heaven. God has a soft spot for sinners. His standards are quite low.”

“When the missionaries came to Africa, they had the Bible and we had the land. They said, ‘Let us pray.’ We closed our eyes. When we opened them, we had the Bible, and they had the land.”

“Enemies are always friends waiting to be made.”

“We need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”

“I wish I could shut up, but I can’t, and I won’t.”

As the CEO of WWE, McMahon makes his money from promoting wrestling and is considered one of the most popular athletes in the world.

2. Michael Jordan – $2.1 Billion.

Michael Jordan is a 57-year-old American retired professional basketball player. He is considered one of the most popular and greatest basketball players in history.

With a net worth estimation of $2.1 billion, Jordan is the second richest athlete in the world. He owns a team Charlotte Hornets in NBA.

A look at the celebrities who are billionaires is what today tends to focus on today. Who is your favourite celebrity? There is no doubt most celebrities are rich through fames but the reality is not all rich celebrities are billionaires. It appears attaining the billionaire is no joke at hence we intend to have a look at the few celebrities who are on billionaire status.

A photo of a 10-year-old girl making rounds on social media has gotten everyone talking with some wondering how possible. The young girl who is believed to be from Soweto, South Africa somehow looks perplexed when her picture is been taken.

According to report, the guy who got the girl pregnant is also a minor as many were calling for his arrest for destroying the future of this young girl but since he is also a minor, there is nothing that can be done.

If this small girl should give birth successfully as the pregnancy is already in an advanced stage, it is in the ninth month; she is likely to join the list of youngest mothers in the world and I believe she is most likely to be the youngest mother from Africa since per the records, the youngest mother the world has ever seen was Lina Medina who gave birth when she was only aged 5.

What was trending in Ghana this week had to do with a woman who stood and slapped her husband live on TV when their marital issues was in contention for discussion on one popular TV station in the country.

If you missed the slap you can watch the video below.

This made several influential people to wade into the matter. Big Godwin for instance had this to write on his Facebook wall questioning the integrity and credibility of the production house and the actions of some of the most influential women in the country.

This is what he wrote on his Facebook wall;

I respect the Multimedia Brand so much and I have been on a number of their platforms several times over the years. It’s a fantastic brand with solid, meaningful content and professionals.

But this one that NHYIRA FM has done is completely unacceptable! Like seriously?A husband is slapped right there in the Studio by the wife and no one batted an eye lid? C’mon, men are sufferinggggggggg! Herrrrrh! Many Men in marriages are going through crazy abuse and no one comes to their aid.If this was a Man in the studio that slapped this woman, can you imagine what will have happened by now?

Victoria Lashimi, Nana Aba, Lydia Forson and co will have risen vehemently in support of the Woman, which I completely endorse, I actually join such voices to fight against the abusive man in support of the victimized woman, but when a Man is under the same or similar attack, everywhere is quiet!

Why?Men, where are your own voices to fight and support your own? Many of you are being beaten in your marriages, being starved of food, being starved of sex, manipulated by your wives against your own families, many of you – your families can’t even visit you, meanwhile your wives’ family actually come to stay in your house for vacations, you have lost your voice and leadership power all because you married and stuck to an abusive and emotionally manipulative wife, and there is no one to come to your rescue because even the one we have seen on a live TV programme being abused doesn’t get help – everyone in the studio sat calm and unbothered, it’s normal, he is a man, so he has water running through his veins and not blood!

But the good news here is that the woman has apologized to the husband but the funny thing here is that the husband never uttered a word. Video making round on social media shows the moment the woman is seen kneeling before the husband seeking forgiveness.

Ghana is such a beautiful place one can find his or herself. It is the first country in sub-Sahara Africa to gain independence and has been the pioneer in pioneering independence across Africa during the colonial era.

We are therefore going to have a look at some famous people who hail from Ghana or have some roots in Ghana. I know some might be wondering where this country is located.

Ghana is a country that can be found in the West African region with a population of a little over 30 million. What makes the country even interesting is the fact that all the surrounding countries around it, I mean all of her neighbours are French-speaking countries. It is bothered to the North with Burkina Faso and to the west with Ivory Coast while to the East is Togo. Its South is the Gulf of Guinea.

The country can boast of lots of natural resources as it produces one of the finest cocoas in the world. Most of the chocolate companies can attest to that. But as stated early on, we are going to have a look at some of the famous people from Ghana.

Let begin;

Anthony William Amo

The name Anthony William Amo or Anton William Amo is one name synonymous with philosophy. He was the first African to get a degree and was the first to get enrolled in any European University. The reality here is that he was a Ghanaian who was taken as a slave at a very young age when he was just 4. He was an Nzema to be precise as he was believed to have been born in Axim; a coastal town still present in Ghana.

He gained his doctorate in philosophy at Wittenberg in 1734; his thesis (published as On the Absence of Sensation in the Human Mind and its Presence in our Organic and Living Body) argued against Cartesian dualism in favour of a broadly materialist account of the person. He accepted that it is correct to talk of a mind or soul, but argued that it is the body rather than the mind which perceives and feels.

He later on went on to become a professor at a university as he was highly learned. I think with time, we will need to focus on him the more but for now, our attention is to have a look at some famous people from Ghana and it appears he can’t be taken off the list.

Kwame Nkrumah

I think he is the reason most Europeans think Africa is a country because the entire welfare of Africa was his goal. Africa is a continent with more than 50 countries. After Kwame Nkrumah have led Ghana to gain independence, his goal was the total liberation of the African continent and not just for his country Ghana.

Just like Amo, he was Ghanaian and was an Nzema as well- a small tribe that can be found along the coast of Ghana. Kwame Nkrumah really achieved a lot for Ghana and the African continent at large.

Idris Elba

Yes, we mostly see him in Hollywood or American movies but the great actor; Idris Elba is of African descent with her mother being a Ghanaian whiles his dad is a Sierra Leonean. His movie; Beast of No Nation for instance was shot in the forest and Eastern part of Ghana.

Kofi Kingston

The former WWE Champion is Ghanaian as well. Even his name Kofi gives him away as being Ghanaian because such names are mostly given to males born on Fridays.

He even came to Ghana recently to present the title to the sitting president of Ghana.

This was what he had to say when he came to Ghana.

Above all else, when I was a kid, this was what I wanted to do, it’s awesome that I was able to achieve my childhood dream but what’s even more important than that is for me to come back and inspire people who might be exactly where I was as a little kid watching, hoping to be something that I am living, breathing proof that you can be whatever you want to be.

“I’m providing inspiration to people who want to do something but don’t know if they can do it. I’m here to provide inspiration that you can do it if you believe in yourself. So, I’m happy to be here to inspire other Ghanaians to go out and do great things in this world.

Kofi Annan

The first African to act as the United Nations General Secretary and a Nobel Prize winner, Kofi Annan was born in Kumasi; the second largest city in Ghana. He is Ghanaian as well and brought lots of good deeds towards world peace.

George Oppong Weah

The current president of Liberia and the only African footballer to receive a Ballon D’or; His Excellency George Oppong Weah is of Ghanaian descent. He himself confirmed during a radio interview in Ghana that indeed his father was a Ghanaian from Takoradi in the Western Region. Oppong is a name very prevalent in Ghana.

Peter Mensah

The famous actor is Ghanaian as well. The list can go on and on as there are several famous individuals who are Ghanaians or of Ghanaian descent.

This beautiful lady has got everyone commenting as she happily shows the ghetto her boyfriend stays in. A video making round on social media shows moments a very beautiful lady leads the way to her boyfriend’s place.

What actually got everyone talking is the fact that how come such a beautiful lady will be very happy in such a slum? But as the saying goes, love is blind and love certainly knows no boundaries. Some have ridden bicycles covering several miles just to meet the love of their lives and so this is indeed something that is not all that different.

Judging from the video, it’s obvious the beautiful lady is certainly in love and if it was because of money, I doubt she will follow the guy to such a place. This makes us understand that there is indeed something known as true love. She was even begging the guy to open the door deducing from what she was telling the guy in the video. There is of course no doubt that they are certainly both in love.

Have a look at the video and judge things for yourself;
